Ukrainian intelligence using a maritime drone destroyed the Ivanovets missile boat of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, it is worth $60-70 million

The Ukrainian General Directorate of Intelligence has carried out a special operation near occupied Crimea on the night of 31 January-1 February, during which a missile boat Ivanovets of the Russian Black Sea Fleet was destroyed.

The operation was carried out by the Group 13 unit. Special forces destroyed the boat with the help of marine drones. The boat "Ivanovets" project 1241 was on the roadstead of Lake Donuzlav in the temporarily occupied Crimea. As a result of direct hits the ship sank. The approximate cost of the ship is $60-70 million.

Project 1241 "Ivanovets" is a modification of missile boats, which are part of the "Molniya" family. Built in the 1980s, they are light missile ships with displacement of about 560 tonnes. They are equipped with anti-ship missiles, anti-submarine systems and automatic guns. "Ivanovtsy" have a high speed (up to 45 knots).
