AM General unveiled Humvee Sabre Blade armored vehicle with Switchblade 300 and Switchblade 600 kamikaze drone launcher

AM General has introduced a new updated version of the Humvee armored vehicle. It is called the Humvee Sabre Blade.

Here's What We Know

The armored vehicle is jointly developed with AeroVironment and Hornet Defense. The former produces military drones, including Switchblade kamikaze drones, while the latter produces remote-controlled combat modules.

The Humvee Sabre Blade is equipped with the Hornet Air Guard Remote Controlled Weapon System turret, which has a system for countering enemy drones. It includes infrared cameras, electro-optical sensors, radar and a Heckler & Koch GMG 40 mm grenade launcher.

Another feature of the vehicle is a launcher for AeroVironment's barrage munitions. We are talking about Switchblade 300 and Switchblade 600. The Humvee Sabre Blade can carry 10 Switchblade 600 anti-tank kamikaze drones and 14 less powerful Switchblade 300 bomber ammunition.
