The Polish government is in talks with the U.S. to produce the FGM-148 Javelin at its facilities.

Here's What We Know

Our colleagues from Militarny (mill.in.ua) told this, referring to a meeting of the Senate National Defense Committee. Unfortunately, there are no details of the negotiations yet. By the way, in 2019, the Poles announced the purchase of American APCs. In 2020, the Polish Ministry of Defense ordered 60 launchers along with 180 guided anti-tank missiles in the latest version of the FGM-148F. The cost of the contract was $54,500,000.

Flashback

The FGM-148 Javelin is a portable anti-tank missile system manufactured by Raytheon and Lockheed Martin. It boasts a missile with a thermal homing head. That means that the operator of the system doesn't have to accompany and correct the flight of the missile after launch. The complex weighs about 22.3 kg. The operational range of the missile can reach up to 4,750 meters.
