Norway will sell 32 F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters to Romania for €388 million

After a year of negotiations, Romania has agreed to buy from Norway the fourth generation of American fighters F-16 Fighting Falcon.
Here's What We Know
Norway will sell 32 aircraft to the Romanian Armed Forces. The cost of the contract is €388 million. The deal involves maintenance of fighters, which will be carried out with the support of the U.S. in Norway.
Norwegian company Kongsberg Aviation Maintenance Services became a strategic partner. It will be engaged in support, maintenance and training. Deliveries of the fourth generation F-16 fighters will begin in 2023.
