The Bulgarian government has decided to purchase an additional batch of American F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters for its air force.

We are talking about 8 aircraft: four F-16C block 70 and four F-16D block 70. In addition to the fighters, Bulgaria will also purchase the necessary armament and maintenance equipment. The total contract amount will be $1,296,000,000. It is planned to realize it by 2027. By the way, the first batch of 16 F-16s Bulgaria ordered in 2020.
