The U.S. Air Force has begun extending the service life of its fourth-generation fighters in Poland.

Here's What We Know

The US Air Force's first F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft underwent maintenance at the Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 S.A. plant in Poland. Specialists checked the onboard systems of the fourth generation fighter. By the end of the year, two more American aircraft will be delivered to the company.

Poland already three years ago began preparing for the maintenance of U.S. Air Force fighters. Washington notes that Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 S.A. is a reliable partner of the American armed forces.
