Estonia receives six more K9 Kõu artillery pieces

South Korea's Hanwha has delivered another batch of K9 Kõu self-propelled artillery units to Estonia.

Here's What We Know

Estonia has ordered 24 howitzers to be delivered within four years. The cost of the contract is €81.5 million ($85.9 million). The deal includes personnel training, instructor fees, additional equipment and spare parts.

The first 12 self-propelled artillery units arrived in the country in 2020. The new batch consists of six K9 Kõu which have been delivered to the port of Paldiski. In addition, Estonia intends to sign a new contract to acquire 12 more South Korean howitzers in the near future.
