Latvia ordered Saab's RBS 70 NG air defense system with an 8 km target range and Giraffe 1X radars

Information about this appeared on the manufacturer's website. Lithuania will purchase from Saab the RBS 70 NG (New Generation) man-portable air defence systems and Giraffe 1X radars. There is no information when will the supply of weaponry start.
Flashback
The RBS 70 is a man-portable air defense system developed in Sweden by Bofors Defence (now Saab Bofors Dynamics). The system uses laser guided BOLIDE missiles. They can hit targets at ranges up to 8 km and altitudes up to 5 km. MANPADs have a recharge time of only 2 seconds. The NG version features the ability to automatically track aerial targets.
The Giraffe 1X is an aerial surveillance device. It provides commanders with target data, detects drones, and can act as a counter-battery radar. The device weighs 150 kg and can be mounted on different platforms.
