Contract for $10,000,000: Poland plans to buy 1,000 Borsuk BMPs with Bushmaster MK 44/S cannon and Spike-LR guided missiles

Information has been shared by the Polish media. According to rumours, next week the Poles will sign a contract with a local company for the purchase of 1,000 Borsuk infantry fighting vehicles. The approximate amount of the purchase will be $10,000,000,000.
The Borsuk BMP will be the replacement for the Soviet BMP-1. The infantry fighting vehicle boasts a ZSSW-30 module with Bushmaster MK 44/S cannon, 7.62mm UKM-2000C machine gun, as well as dual launchers for Spike-LR anti-tank guided missiles. The Borsuk has a crew of three. The vehicle is capable of carrying up to 10 infantrymen. The BMP is powered by a MTU 8V-199-TE20 engine with 720 horsepower. Thanks to this engine Borsuk can reach up to 65 km/h on the highway.
