A US B-52H nuclear bomber again flew 15km from russia and executed a sharp manoeuvre 170km from St Petersburg

Four United States Strategic Aircraft have been in Spain since late February 2023. The B-52H Stratofortress nuclear bombers have flown several missions in Europe this week.

Here's What We Know

A few days ago, a B-52H Stratofortress was spotted in Romania, 25km from the border with Ukraine, from where it headed for Bulgaria. The day before, the nuclear bomber had performed a sharp manoeuvre over the Baltic Sea, 170km from St Petersburg. Before that, it flew 15km from the Kaliningrad region.

Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak said the B-52H Stratofortress was escorted by Polish fighters during the flight, which was part of a NATO exercise. After performing a manoeuvre over the Baltic Sea, the aircraft headed towards Estonia. Russian media claimed that the nuclear bomber was practising strikes.
