Poland to receive first M142 HIMARS missile systems in coming days
The Polish Army's 18th Mechanized Division will receive its first M142 HIMARS missile systems very soon. This was announced by Polish Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak.

The area of responsibility of the 18th Mechanized Division includes the Isthmus of Suwalk. It is a land corridor approximately 100 km long between Belarus, Poland, Lithuania and the Kaliningrad Oblast of the Russian Federation.
Mariusz Blaszczak said that the first highly mobile M142 HIMARS artillery rocket systems will arrive in Poland by the middle of this month. The Polish military has completed training in the United States.
Earlier we wrote that after a visit to the Lockheed Martin plant, the Polish Defence Minister announced the creation of the HIMARS centre in Poland. It will appear by the end of 2023 and will be a hub for maintenance and production of HIMARS.
