Here's What We Know
Discussions on the provision of fourth generation fighters to the Ukrainian Air Force have been confirmed by Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte. The Reuters news agency quoted him as saying.
According to the Dutch prime minister, the countries are now engaged in "intensive discussions". He adds that besides Denmark, the US and Britain, there are several other European countries that have joined the discussion. The prime minister has not specified which countries are being discussed.
Mark Rutte says it is now important to reach agreement among all partners on providing Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets. In the past the allies went through a similar process when it came to sending tanks and howitzers to Ukraine.
