The United States has no plans to transfer the fourth generation F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters to the Ukrainian Air Force. However, they would not mind if European countries send their planes to Ukraine.

Here's What We Know

According to CNN, the US presidential administration has made it clear to European allies that it will not block the export of F-16 fighter jets to Europe. According to anonymous sources, the White House will approve the transfer of the planes to Ukraine if the allies want to do so.

On the other hand, Joe Biden's administration officials have no information on official requests to export the fourth-generation fighters. Work on the paperwork authorising the transfer of the F-16s to third countries has not started either.

At the same time, we learned that the training of Ukrainian pilots may not take a year and a half, but only four months. This was reported by Yahoo News, which obtained access to the relevant documents.
