The information was shared by the CZDefence publication. We are talking about the purchase of 1,000 vehicles. The project will be implemented jointly with the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Unfortunately, no details of the delivery of the equipment are available yet. By the way, Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov has already signed a declaration on cooperation with his counterparts.
Flashback
CV90 is a Swedish infantry fighting vehicle, which was developed in 1984 by Hägglunds company (it belongs to British BAE Systems) by the order of Swedish ground forces. Production of the vehicle started in 1993. Since then, some 1,170 BMPs in different modifications have been produced. Incidentally, the AFU has 50 such infantry fighting vehicles in service. They were given to Ukraine by Sweden.
