The Polish Armed Forces have tested a short-range air defence system. It is called Mala Narew.
Here's What We Know
The Polish Ministry of Defence said that the tests ended successfully. The anti-aircraft missile system was able to destroy three targets, which were Szogun drones with programmed flight paths.
Mala Narew uses British CAMM missiles. Poland currently receives ammunition from the UK. In the future, the production of longer-range CAMM-ER and CAMM-MR missiles will be established in Poland.
By the end of this month, Poland plans to integrate the anti-aircraft missile system into its national air defence system. In addition to Mala Narew, it will also include MIM-104 Patriot and Pilica+.
