Here's What We Know
An official U.S. Air Force press release states that aircraft from the 20th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron have landed at Andersen Air Force Base. They came from Barksdale, Louisiana.
Bomb Task Force missions demonstrate the ability of U.S. forces to meet global security challenges. They are now more diverse and uncertain than ever before.
The B-52 Stratofortress is a long-lived nuclear bomber. It made its first flight in 1952 and entered service three years later. Upgrades, which include the installation of a new engine, will allow the aircraft to fly for about 30 more years.
