Poland wants to buy 250 to 400 new Rosomak APCs

The Polish Defence Ministry wants to buy new Rosomak armoured personnel carriers for the Polish Army.

The information was shared by the local publication Defence24. We are talking about a contract for 250-400 APCs in the new increased modification L (Long). If everything goes according to plan, the contract for the purchase of combat vehicles will be signed by the end of this year.
Rosomak in the L modification has an increased length from 7.8m to 8.4m and a 30-40% larger tank. Thanks to the new dimensions the buoyancy quality of the vehicle is improved. In addition, Rosomak L boasts a 610 hp Scania DC13 engine, ZSSW-30 combat module developed by Huta Stalowa Wola and WB Electronics, as well as new hull elements.
