Slovenia will spend almost $400 million to buy six multi-role helicopters and a C-27J Spartan transport aircraft

Slovenia's Ministry of Defence has amended its procurement programme for 2023-2026. The ministry announced plans to acquire multirole helicopters and a transport aircraft for the country's armed forces.
Here's What We Know
The statement does not mention the helicopter model, but it is known that Slovakia wants to purchase six aircraft to replace the Bell 412. For this purpose, €195.2m ($217.2m) will be allocated from the budget. After 2028, Bratislava intends to purchase an additional batch of helicopters.
The Slovak Armed Forces will also take into service another C-27J Spartan tactical transport aircraft manufactured by the Italian company Leonardo over the next three years. It will cost €159 million ($176.9 million).
