IRIS-T SAMs and Gepard anti-aircraft tanks: Germany is going to transfer additional air defence systems to Ukraine

The information was shared by the American edition of Bloomberg, citing its sources. We are talking about the transfer of an additional IRIS-T surface-to-air missile system. In addition, Germany will send 12 more Gepard anti-aircraft tanks to Ukraine. The AFU will use these weapons to protect grain export routes from Russian attacks.

The armament will arrive in Ukraine by the end of this year. As for the previously announced IRIS-T deliveries, they will continue into 2024.
