AlM-9M air defence missiles, HIMARS ammunition and TOW anti-tank missiles: US announces new $200m military aid package for Ukraine

The United States of America, following Germany and The United Kingdom, has announced another package of military aid for Ukraine.

Here's What We Know

The new aid package is worth $200m and includes:

• AlM-9M missiles for a new air defence system
• Equipment for countering drones (c-UAS)
• Additional ammunition for HIMARS MLRSs
• Munitions for artillery of 155 mm and 105 mm calibre;
• TOW anti-tank guided missiles
• AT-4 anti-tank missile systems
• Small arms and more than 16 million rounds of ammunition.

Deliveries of arms will begin shortly.
