Korean company Hyundai Rotem wants to supply Ukraine with new advanced infantry fighting vehicles N-WAV 8x8.

Information about this appeared in the presentation of the company, pictures of which were shared by Twitter user under the nickname @TrompBK. Hyundai Rotem plans to build a plant in Poland to produce BMPs, which could become a hub for armoured vehicle deliveries to other Eastern European countries, including Ukraine. According to Hyundai Rotem, the AFU will need a large number of BMPs after the end of the war. The Korean manufacturer is also planning to supply combat vehicles to Poland, Hungary and Slovakia.

The N-WAV 8x8 is a promising infantry fighting vehicle based on the Korean K808 armoured personnel carrier. The vehicle is designed to deliver infantry and support it in combat. In its normal modification, the N-WAV 8x8 can accommodate up to eight infantrymen, as well as three crew members. The BMP is powered by a 700 hp propulsion system. The vehicle also boasts a modular design with different types of armament and the ability to ford bodies of water.
