90 per cent of targets destroyed: UK tells about the effectiveness of air defence system with ASRAAM missiles in Ukraine

We have already written more than once that the Ukrainian armed forces are using launchers to launch ASRAAM missiles at aerial targets. Now the UK Ministry of Defence has shared information about the work of such an air defence system.

Here's What We Know

The launcher has shown itself perfectly in combat. The efficiency of destroyed targets is 90%.

By the way, the launcher for ASRAAM missiles was created by MBDA specialists. It is based on the Supacat HMT truck and can hit air targets at a distance of up to 25 km. The ASRAAM missile has a high deflection homing system that helps it capture the heat signature of the target and engage it from different angles.

It is not known how many such homemade air defence systems Ukraine has received.
