Finland will buy SDB-I bombs and JDAM kits for the F-35A fifth-generation fighter aircraft from the US

The Finnish Ministry of Defence has signed a contract with the US for the supply of SDB-I bombs and JDAM kits.

Here's What We Know

The information appeared on the website of the Finnish Ministry. The amount of the contract is $96 million. In addition to bombs, the contract also provides for the purchase of related equipment and services. Deliveries of weapons will take place in stages during 2024-2030. By the way, the Finnish Air Force plans to use the bombs with F-35A Block 4 fighters, which will enter service in 2025-2030.
