ARK: Survival Ascended will get released on Xbox Series today, while the PlayStation 5 version is delayed again
Developers of survival simulator ARK: Survival Ascended (updated version of ARK: Survival Evolved) from Wildcard studio announced important news about console versions of the game.
Here's What We Know
Xbox Series users will be able to start dinosaur hunting today - 21 November at 18:00 (CET). At this time, the game will be released and can be installed, while the ARK: Survival Ascended servers will start only a few hours later. The developers have explained this move by saying that they want to allow everyone to start the game at the same time, regardless of when it is installed.
Unfortunately, PlayStation users will still not be able to join the gaming community. The release of the Japanese console version has been postponed to early December due to the fact that the game has not yet been certified by Sony.
Recall, on PC the game was released in late October and aroused great interest of gamers.
Developers promise that in the near future in ARK: Survival Ascended will support crossplay, so that users of different platforms will be able to play on the same servers.
