Matt Booty replaces Bobby Kotick: Activision Blizzard has made some important changes to its management team
The global change of leadership in the Xbox divisions, which Activision Blizzard recently became a part of, continues.
It is already known that the head of Activision Blizzard Bobby Kotick will leave his post on December 29, and now there is information about who will perform his duties.
Here's What We Know
In an internal email to employees of Microsoft's gaming division, its head Phil Spencer said that for the time being Kotick's powers will be fulfilled by Matt Booty - president of game content and studios Xbox. His responsibilities already include running ZeniMax, Bethesda and a number of other internal studios and until the appointment of Activision Blizzard's new CEO, Matt Booty will remain in charge of the company.
All of Matt Booty's authority to run ZeniMax and Bethesda has been shared by Jill Braff, the head of those studios who has extensive experience at Nintendo Corporation, Sega, Warner Bros.
