Star Wars Outlaws release window of 'late 2024' is wrong, says Ubisoft

During the announcement of Star Wars Outlaws in June last year, Ubisoft set a release date of 2024. It would seem that this date was clarified in the Disney blog, where it was stated that the open-world game would be released "in late 2024", but Ubisoft confirmed that this information was not true.

Here's What We Know

According to Kotaku, references to a launch at the end of this year have been removed from the blog post and replaced with the more vague term "2024". A company spokesperson also issued a statement saying that the "late" 2024 date was incorrect.

Many, of course, assumed that Star Wars Outlaws would be released in the last months of the year, although obviously Ubisoft wants to give itself the wiggle room to be able to announce a date at any point in the year, not just in a narrower window. However, what that release date will be remains to be seen.
