Baldur's Gate III save game bug fix on Xbox consoles coming next week
Microsoft has reportedly discovered the cause of a problem with Baldur's Gate III on Xbox consoles that leads to the loss of game saves.
Here's What We Know
After the release of the game on Microsoft consoles was delayed for several months due to technical problems, Larian Studios released it in December. However, ever since the incident, players have faced a serious problem - their saves simply disappeared. Earlier, Microsoft simply recommended several workarounds to fix the issue, but now it has pinpointed the cause of the error and is actively working to fix it.
Larian Studios wrote on Tuesday:
"Microsoft have identified the cause of the save bug on Xbox, and will be issuing a firmware update to fix it! You’ll be able to update your console manually on the 16th of January, or wait a week longer for the update to roll out globally.".
Where To Play
In addition to Xbox consoles, Baldur's Gate III is also available on PC and PlayStation 5.
