Here's What We Know

In the game, the protagonist Senua travels to 10th century Iceland to uncover the secrets of the Vikings who plundered her people. Although Ninja Theory tries to make the game relatively realistic, players will also see many fantastical elements, such as giants, draugr, and more.

Of course, Senua's psychosis is once again an important part of the gameplay, and as with the first game, Ninja Theory consulted with professionals and people with personal experience of mental illness to convey Senua's inner world and her struggle to cope with what she is going through.

The developers also revealed additional details about the game's creation process, as well as Hellblade 2's graphical enhancements, improvements in the game's use of motion capture, and the use of binaural sound not only for the voices in Senua's head, but throughout the game.
