Publisher Square Enix has revealed the start date of beta testing of Final Fantasy XIV on Xbox Series.

Recall, earlier the popular MMORPG was available only on PC and PlayStation.

Here's What We Know

Japanese developers said that you can try out the version of Final Fantasy XIV on Xbox Series from 9:00 (CET) on February 21.

Warning. The official announcement says that testing will only be available to new players who are experiencing the game for the first time. To play on Xbox, you'll need to link your Microsoft and Square Enix accounts. You won't be able to unlink the accounts once linked.

You don't need an Xbox Game Pass subscription to participate in the testing, but Square Enix emphasises that it will be required to access the full version of the game.

When We Can Expect It

The release date for Final Fantasy XIV on the Xbox Series is not yet known, but it is expected to be in the spring of 2024.

The game will be released with the Heavensward and Stormblood expansions.
