The physical version of Baldur's Gate III for Xbox Series consoles can take 3-4 discs, - the developers say
Despite the fact that Baldur's Gate III was released last year, physical versions of the game in the form of Deluxe editions will be distributed only at the end of this year. However, there are potential problems with them - the Xbox Series version may require 3 or 4 discs. The studio wants console releases to be fully playable from discs without a significant download for owners.
Here's What We Know
Daus explained in an interview with Kotaku:
"The plan is for it to be fully playable on disc, so that’s the reality we find ourselves in. Silly us!".
While many games require a significant download even after installing the disc, Baldur's Gate 3, which is currently only available digitally, has been a significant success for Larian and the owner of the Dungeons & Dragons rights, Hasbro.
