DxOMark experts evaluated the capabilities of the main camera Xiaomi 12 Lite, the cheapest representative of the last generation flagship series.

Here's What We Know

The strengths of the camera French experts called accurate exposure in different shooting scenarios, proper white balance and natural color reproduction both in the daytime and in artificial light during video recording.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite also has minuses. This is not surprising given that the smartphone costs less than $600. DxOMark notes not the best autofocus performance, the appearance of digital noise in low light, a drop in detail in low-light conditions, artifacts in background blur, limited dynamic range and sharpness drops between frames.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite, which has a 108 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP primary camera, got 111 points for photos and 121 points for video (suddenly). The overall score was 109 points. This gave the model a place at the end of the sixth ten along with the Google Pixel 5.
