Xiaomi 12T has started receiving HyperOS: what's new

Xiaomi has started updating the Xiaomi 12T to its new proprietary HyperOS shell.

Here's What We Know

The firmware has been released with the build number OS1.0.5.0.0.ULQMIXM and weighs 1.5GB. The system has already started to be received by some users in the global market. In the coming days, the OTA update will be available to all Xiaomi 12T owners.

The new software version is based on the Android 14 operating system. The update contains Google's November security patch and a host of new features including a revamped UI, improved security, enhanced desktop and lock screen customisation settings. Overall, HyperOS looks very similar to iOS on the iPhone.
