Xiaomi 13 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and four 50MP cameras debuted in Europe a 12/512GB option for $1615
As planned, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra debuted in Europe on 12 June. Expectedly, the price went up significantly compared to the Chinese one.
Here's What We Know
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra was announced on 18 April 2023 in China. The flagship went on sale in 8/256GB, 16/512GB and 16/1024GB variants priced at $875, $945 and $1060 respectively.
The global version debuted in Hong Kong last week. The smartphone is available in a 12/512GB configuration and priced at $1145. Europeans will also be able to buy the Xiaomi 13 Ultra with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. But here the official price was €1500 ($1615).
The next-generation flagship has a 3.2K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.73" diagonal. It's covered by Gorilla Glass Victus, and there's a cutout at the top for a 32 MP front-facing camera.
At the heart of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, made using 4nm technology. The battery capacity was 5,000mAh. The battery supports 90W (wired), 50W (wireless) and 10W (reverse wireless) fast charging.
The main camera resolution is 50 MP + 50 MP + 50 MP + 50 MP. The main sensor is 1" in size. The camera gets optical stabilisation, support for 8K@24FPS and 4K@60FPS. The zoom ratio is 3.2x and 5x with no loss of quality.
