Three more Xiaomi smartphones get memory expansion feature
Xiaomi continues to introduce support for memory expansion technology in MIUI 12.5 software. This time, Memory Fusion has become available for three models.
Who updated
Kacper Skrzypek writes on Twitter that the memory expansion feature has appeared in the Xiaomi CC9 Pro, Mi Note 10 and Redmi K30. All three are equipped with an 8nm Snapdragon 730G mobile processor. The informant reports that Memory Fusion is available in the test version of MIUI 12.5 dated October 20, 2021.
This means that for now you can only add 1-3GB of virtual RAM on Chinese firmware, meaning you have to remove the Xiaomi Mi Note 10, which is the global version of the CC9 Pro, from this list and include the CC9 Pro Premium model.
So we get three smartphones again, Xiaomi CC9 Pro, CC9 Pro Premium and Redmi K30. The Premium version too runs on a Snapdragon 730G processor, and differs from the standard model in having more memory and better optics in the 108-megapixel main camera.
