Xiaomi Civi 3 - Dimensity 8200 ULTRA, 120Hz display, 50MP camera with OIS and dual front module from $330

As planned, Xiaomi has unveiled a new Civi series smartphone. The model has been named Xiaomi Civi 3.

Here's What We Know

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.55" AMOLED display. The resolution is 2400 x 1080 pixels (Full HD+), the refresh rate is 120Hz and the peak brightness is 1500 nits. The screen supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision and has a built-in fingerprint scanner.

The Xiaomi Civi 3 is powered by the Dimensity 8200 ULTRA mobile processor. The chip is made using 4nm technology, has cores up to 3.1GHz and is complemented by 12/16GB of LPDDR5/5X RAM respectively.

The storage subsystem is represented by a UFS 3.1 drive. The capacity is 256GB, 512GB or 1TB depending on the modification. The model also has a 4,500mAh battery with a fast charging capacity of 67W.

The Xiaomi Civi 3 gets a 50 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP main camera with optical image stabilisation. The 8 MP module has ultra-wide-angle optics (120 degrees). The camera resolution for selfies is 32 MP + 32 MP.

The smartphone comes with NFC, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, GPS stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and the Android 13 operating system with MIUI 14 firmware. The model weighs less than 174g and measures 158.75 x 71.7 x 7.56mm.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Xiaomi Civi 3 in 12/256GB, 12/512GB and 16/1024GB variants is priced at $330, $355 and $395 respectively. The smartphone will go on sale on 31 May 2023 in grey, purple, gold and green colour variants.
