Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro: a tablet with 12.4" display, 144Hz, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and 120W charging for $460

At today's presentation in China, in addition to the flagship smartphone Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Xiaomi unveiled a new tablet Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4.

Here's What We Know

As the name suggests, the tablet features a 12.4-inch IPS display with a resolution of 3048×2032 pixels, 900 nits brightness and 144Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and supports stylus operation. On the back, there are Pogo pins that can be magnetically attached to the Xiaomi SU7 EV and make the tablet part of the infotainment system with control through the car's interface.

Inside, there's a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with 8GB, 12GB or 16GB of RAM. The storage capacity is 256GB, 512GB or 1TB. The 10,000mAh battery supports 120W fast charging, which fully charges the battery in 35 minutes or 45 per cent in just 10 minutes. The tablet runs on the proprietary HyperOS.

Apart from this, there are 32 MP front and 50 MP main cameras, 6 speakers with Dolby Atmos support and 4 microphones. The body is made of metal.

The Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro is already on sale in China in black, green and blue colours. It costs between $460 and $625 depending on the storage capacity.
