Hit Redmi 2019 gets stable MIUI 12.5 firmware
Xiaomi has started rolling out the MIUI 12.5 firmware update for the brand's first Redmi smartphone. It was released in early 2019.
We are talking about the model Redmi Note 7. It is also the Chinese company's first smartphone with a 48-megapixel primary camera. It features a Snapdragon 660 processor, an IPS display and a 4,000 mAh battery.
The model arrived on the market with MIUI 10 firmware and Android 9.0 Pie operating system. Now it has begun to receive the shell MIUI 12.5 under the number v12.5.1.0 QFGEUXM, that is, we are talking about the global European firmware.
Stable Beta status means that the update is being sent out to about a third of all Redmi Note 7 owners in Europe. The firmware is built on Android 10. This is the last big update for the smartphone. From now on, it will only receive minor software updates with patches and security patches.
