Nokia 8 Sirocco: the first mention of the premium flagship
The next beta version of Android 8.0 Oreo for the smartphone Nokia 5 brought new interesting discoveries. In the application code of the camera, there were again hints of future devices and Nokia 8 Sirocco in particular.
Why wait?
In the line of the old-good Nokia there was already a model with a similar name - Nokia 8800 Sirocco Edition. The image phone, named after the hot east wind, became the heir of the original 8800, and later the Sirocco Gold modification appeared in the 18-carat gold case. And now HMD Global decided in some way to revive the premium series.
It's not clear yet, than Nokia 8 Sirocco differs from the standard version. Perhaps this name will receive the flagship in 2018, or the manufacturer is preparing a limited edition of Nokia 8 for customers with thick wallets.

More smartphones
In the firmware code, enthusiasts also found references to unannounced Nokia 1 , 9 and 7 Plus models. Curiously, in the images to the right of the names of gadgets appeared logo of the manufacturer of optics Zeiss. Apparently, the partner takes part in the development of camera software.
