Recently, Tether, the issuer of the USDT cryptocurrency, blocked an address with assets of more than $1,000,000. The company did not stop freezing wallets at this point.

Tether already has 563 blacklisted addresses. According to Dune Analytics, the company recently added three more wallets with assets worth over $150,000,000. As usual, Tether did not disclose the reasons for freezing addresses.

Last fall, the issuer announced a partnership with Notabene. Tether will use its technologies to counter the illegal use of digital assets and to ensure the protection of holders of the USDT cryptocurrency.
