Changed their minds: realme Pad will still receive the Android 12 update
A couple of weeks ago, information appeared on the network that realme has no plans to update its newly introduced tablet to the latest version of Android OS but the company seems to have changed its mind.
What is known
On the official forum realme has published an announcement that the realme Pad will be upgraded to Android 12 after all. The firmware is scheduled to be released in the third quarter of this year. That is in July, August or September. With the new software version, the tablet will receive a proprietary realme UI 3.0 shell with all its features.
Recall that realme Pad was introduced in September with Android 11 on board. The device has a 10.4-inch 2000×1200p IPS screen, MediaTek Helio G80 processor, 4 GB RAM, 64 ROM, a memory card slot, four speakers with Dolby Atmos technology, and a 7100 mAh battery. It charges via a USB-C port using an 18W power bank. The tablet is equipped with a single 8 MP front camera and the same main one.
