LG has announced the launch of an effective advertising program called LG Ad Solution on its TVs.

What does it mean?

The manufacturer will now offer advertisers advertising with guaranteed results. As explained, video ads shown on smart TVs LG will meet campaign goals on several KPIs such as video completion rate (buyers only pay if the video plays in full), demographics, reach and frequency goals etc.

To do this, LG will collect data about its users: age, gender, presence of children in the house, as well as the percentage of content viewed. The company promises that the statistics will be collected anonymously.

As a result, advertisers will receive a target audience, and TV owners will receive offers tailored specifically for them.

“We created this expansive program as a starting point in a new paradigm of TV results in which marketers are confident that every dollar spent on CTV advertising will hit the mark,” said LG Ads Solutions CEO Raghu Kodige in the program announcement. . "Whether it's sales, conversions, or customer acquisition, advertisers struggle to quantify the ROI on TV ads."
