"Nova Poshta": Ukrainians started shopping online again
Nova Poshta shared its own information about deliveries and online orders in Ukraine during the war. With the beginning of the Russian invasion, the volume of traffic using "Novaya Poshta" decreased by 20 times. Before the start of the war, the company delivered 1 million parcels daily, 70% of which were online orders from stores. In the first week of the war, the figure dropped to 50,000 parcels per day, which is only 5% compared to the pre-war period. In the second week, on average, 100-125 thousand parcels were transported per day, and since 21, 350 thousand shipments have already been recorded, of which 60% are online orders. That is, 200 thousand goods per day were ordered by Ukrainians online. This is still 5 times less than it was in the pre-war period, but there is an increase in the number of online purchases. And online stores gradually began to resume their work.
The most popular categories of goods that Ukrainians order with Nova Poshta at the moment are clothing, footwear, auto products and spare parts, medical products (including medicines), food products, cosmetics, and pet supplies. For the convenience of customers, "Nova Poshta" posted on the website list largest online stores that are currently operating. There are over 200 stores on the list.
It is also reported that people have stopped picking up parcels that have already been delivered: up to 2 million parcels are currently stored in Nova Poshta branches, which can be received or redirected to any other branch convenient for customers.
