Ukraine asks Mark Zuckerberg to block Facebook and Instagram in Russia

Yesterday Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov urged the head of SpaceX, Elon Musk, to provide Ukraine with Starlink stations and access to satellite Internet. And Musk Elon Musk supported Ukraine and announced the launch of Starlink satellite Internet. Now Fedorov has turned to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

So, in social networks, the minister called on Zuckerberg to block the social networks Facebook and Instagram in Russia:

"Mark Zuckerberg! While you are creating the Metaverse, Russia is destroying real life in Ukraine. We ask that users from Russia be blocked from accessing Facebook and Instagram while their tanks are destroying our kindergartens and hospitals."

Zuckerberg has not yet responded to Ukraine's call.
