Apple in the second quarter of 2022 will be forced to reduce production of smartphones iPhone SE (2022) and headphones AirPods.
There are several reasons for this decision. First, the problem with the supply of chips has not yet disappeared. Secondly, the demand for smartphones in general is falling in China. The third reason is directly related to our country, and that is war.
According to Nikkei Asia, the production volume of the budget iPhone SE (2022) will be about 2-3 million units per quarter. AirPods will be reduced to 10 million units. In addition, Apple intends to reduce the production of smartphones iPhone 13, but this decision is due to seasonal changes in demand.
