Ukrainian fund «Drones for Ukraine», specializing in collecting donations that go to buy drones for the needs of the armed forces of Ukraine, announced an interesting action for all people of good will living outside of Ukraine. He promises to give out (not to sell - this is an important nuance) a unique souvenir made from the skin of a Russian Su-34 aircraft shot down during military operations over the sky of Ukraine to anyone who makes a donation in excess of $1,000.

About it declared Volunteer Yury Vysoven on his Facebook page. «I thought for a long time how to raise more money for drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is obvious that it is necessary to collect not in Ukraine, it is also obvious that those who wish have already donated, it is necessary to include a wider audience. So, you have to give something for a donat. Stamps from Ukrposhta are great, but we need something even cooler», Yuriy wrote.

«We collected the wreckage of a downed enemy Su-34 and converted them into such souvenirs (photo). We do not sell, we only give those who donated over 1000$ to drones. I beg you to help spread the post below the foreign audience.»

Yuriy also urged Ukrainians not to participate in this action. «I’ll definitely do more for you later, but after the victory and not for $1000, it’s enough for everyone, Armed Forces of Ukraine supplies downed aircraft for processing in large bulkL», he told his Ukrainian subscribers.

Souvenirs in the published photos are made of sheathing shot down in March near Borodyanka  (coordinates 50°38'44.3"N 29°53'28.2"E ) Su-34 with tail number RF81251 and call sign "Red 31". In addition to the side number of the front-line bomber and the coordinates where it was shot down, the token contains the inscriptions «original peace of aircraft skin fragment», «limited edition» and «Thank you for supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces».

Pictures of the downed Su-34 from the scene:

Fragments of a broken pilot's helmet with a fragment of his last name and personal call sign «Buryat».

According to the Military Balance, 136 Su-34s were produced for 2020, including 7 prototypes and pre-production models. The fighter is designed to strike at ground targets at a distance of 150-600 km from the line of contact in the face of strong opposition by air defense systems and the use of electronic warfare, as well as to destroy enemy air targets day and night in simple and difficult meteorological conditions.
