Since March 10, Google Play has introduced restrictions for users from Russia: they can no longer buy apps and games, pay for a subscription, or make any in-app purchases of digital goods using Google Play. And now Google has announced new bans.

What's new?

As stated in the company's blog, since May 5, Google Play has blocked the download of paid applications from Russian developers. Moreover, they will no longer be able to update already existing paid applications.

At the same time, free applications are still available on Google Play.
