Tax on "strawberries": the budget of Ukraine received the first receipts from the OnlyFans service
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Daniil Getmantsev announced the first revenues that the budget of Ukraine received from the OnlyFans platform.
How much and why?
So, the social network, whose members, for a paid subscription, provide their “fans” with access to restricted content (mainly for adults), made transfers to the Ukrainian treasury for the first time - $ 305,000.
“The contribution of the entertainment industry to the financing of our Victory. Looking forward to the next ones! — wrote Getmantsev.
These are the first receipts of OnlyFans from the "tax on Google". Recall that this law No. 1525-IX entered into force on January 1, 2022. It obliges companies without a representative office in Ukraine to pay 20% VAT on online services. The initiative was initiated by Daniil Getmantsev.
By the way, at the end of April, OnlyFans suspended the maintenance of accounts and payments of authors from Russia.
