In the Kharkiv region, a special unit KRAKEN replenished the fleet of vehicles with armored vehicles Alvis 4. Flags are installed on armored vehicles along with symbols KRAKEN as identification marks.
Alvis 4 were previously used as part of peacekeeping operations in Kosovo and South Africa. At the end of spring this year, Ukraine received a batch of armored vehicles from Estonia.
Alvis 4 is aimed at use in mined areas. The car is distinguished by mine protection due to the armored lower part. The upper part of the vehicle is made of steel. It protects the crew from small arms and shrapnel. Optionally, a machine gun can be mounted on the roof.
