"Buchanskaya Ptashka" - Ukrainian drone for reconnaissance and air attack
Ukrainian engineers have created a prototype of an unmanned aerial vehicle called the Buchanskaya Birdie.
What is known
The drone is being developed by engineers Stanislav Barantsev and Valentin Matvienko. The drone prototype began to be tested even before the full-scale invasion of Bucha, which is the reason for such a name.
The inventors promise that the "Buchan bird" will be able to stay in the air for 5 minutes longer than a professional drone DJI Inspire 2, i.e. approximately 30-32 minutes. In this case, the price will be more modest. Recall that the company's UAV DJI worth order $3500.
"Buchanskaya birdie" is expected in two trim levels. For air attack, a version with a suspension for the VOG-25 grenade launcher ammunition will be provided. There will also be an option for reconnaissance. The developers plan to use zoom cameras in the drone 10x.
Before moving into mass production, the inventors plan to create three unmanned aerial vehicles and hand them over to the Ukrainian military for testing.
