The Armed Forces of Ukraine showed the launch of missiles from the Buk self-propelled anti-aircraft missile system.
What is known
The video shows several rocket launches. The location is not specified. On the footage you can see how one of the missiles destroys an air target.
The Buk air defense system is used to destroy aerodynamic targets flying at low and medium altitudes (30-18,000 m). The Buk-M1 modification is in service with Ukraine. Compared to the basic version, the accuracy of destroying cruise missiles ALCM increased to 40%, helicopters - from 30% to 70% depending on the range.
The anti-aircraft missile system can recognize aircraft, helicopters and ballistic missiles. Also, the Buk-M1 air defense system has technologies to counter anti-radar missiles.
